This is not a flat printed image, sticker, or decal. Each piece is digitally prepared, printed in separate color layers, assembled, inspected, and finished individually.

Every order includes a custom fitted display stand, removable mounting putty, and a digital proof before production.

Small wording or placement corrections can be requested during the proof process. Requests that substantially change the original artwork, add multiple new emblems, or completely replace the requested concept may require an additional design quote.

How It Works
1. Place Your Order
Choose your size, plaque depth, and personalization option. Upload your badge, patch, emblem, challenge coin, logo, or artwork. Add your exact personalization wording and any special instructions.
2. We Prepare Your Design
We transform your image into clean artwork suitable for layered 3D printing. Clear, high resolution images provide the best results, but they are not required. We can often work with older patches, photographs, scans, screenshots, and lower quality artwork.
3. Review Your Digital Proof
You will receive a digital proof by email showing the layout, colors, raised details, finish, and personalization. Review the proof carefully. Production cannot begin until the design is approved.
4. We Create Your Plaque
After approval, your plaque is printed, assembled, inspected, and finished individually.
5. Ready to Display
Your completed plaque is securely packaged and shipped with its custom display stand and removable mounting putty.

Available Sizes
6 Inch
A compact option for desks, bookshelves, lockers, offices, and smaller display areas.
8 Inch
A versatile middle size that provides strong detail without requiring a large display area.
10 Inch
A larger display size that provides excellent detail for desks, shelves, mantels, trophy cases, offices, stations, and department displays.
12 Inch
A bold centerpiece size offering the greatest visual presence and the best reproduction of highly detailed artwork.
Size is measured using the longest edge of the design. This may be the width or height depending on the shape of the artwork.
Plaque Depth
Standard Depth
Approximately 5 mm thick. Our original plaque thickness provides a clean and lightweight display with excellent raised detail. It works well on the included stand or mounted directly to a wall.
Double Depth
Approximately 10 mm thick. Choose Double Depth for a thicker and more substantial display with additional weight, presence, and a premium feel.
Double Depth changes the thickness of the main plaque body. It does not change the width, height, artwork layout, or amount of raised detail.
Metallic Gold and Silver Finish
For badges and emblems with a metallic appearance, only the areas shown as gold or silver can be printed using Silk Gold or Silk Silver filament. All other areas of the design will use standard filament colors.
Select Silk Gold Only, Silk Silver Only, Silk Gold and Silver, or Choose Best Match in the metallic finish field. This option does not make the entire plaque shiny.
Silk filament provides a reflective shine but remains 3D printed PLA. It is not real metal, metallic plating, or painted metal.

Minor layer lines, surface texture, and small color variations are normal characteristics of the 3D printing process. Each plaque is created individually, so slight variations should be expected.
PLA can soften or warp when exposed to high temperatures. Do not leave the plaque inside a hot vehicle, near a strong heat source, or exposed to extreme summer temperatures.
Production and Shipping Timeline
- Digital proofs are usually provided within 1 to 3 business days.
- Standard Depth production usually requires 5 to 7 business days after proof approval.
- Double Depth production usually requires 7 to 10 business days after proof approval.
- USPS Ground shipping is available for a flat rate of $5.
- USPS Priority Mail is available for a flat rate of $10.
If your plaque is needed for a retirement, promotion, ceremony, award presentation, or another scheduled event, please contact us before ordering. We will do our best to accommodate your date.
Design Notes
- Every plaque is custom created from the image you provide.
- Fine text, thin lines, tiny numbers, and extremely small details may need to be adjusted so they print cleanly.
- Detailed designs are best reproduced in the 10 inch or 12 inch sizes.
- Colors are matched as closely as possible using available filament.
- Necessary artwork changes will be shown in your digital proof before production.
AI Assisted Artwork
When needed, AI assisted design tools may be used to help clean, rebuild, or prepare customer supplied artwork. Every design is reviewed, refined, and adapted by VisionAir X Designs for layered 3D printing before you receive your digital proof.
Display Disclaimer
These plaques are decorative display pieces only. They are not official credentials, identification, wearable badges, uniform components, emergency equipment, or authorized agency issued items. They are intended for display, gifts, recognition, decoration, and commemorative purposes only.
Custom Order Policies
Proof Approval
Production and shipping depend on timely proof approval. Once the proof is approved and production begins, the order cannot be cancelled or modified.
Returns
Because every piece is custom made, all sales are final. Returns are accepted only if we made an error, the item is defective, or the completed item does not match the approved proof.
Damage
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery and provide photographs if your plaque arrives damaged. We will make it right.

By submitting artwork, you confirm that you have the legal right or permission to use it for your custom order. VisionAir X Designs is not responsible for intellectual property claims involving customer supplied artwork.
